What is the Theatre Farm?
The Theatre Farm is a community of creative farmers and green-fingered thespians. A group of people who work the land and practice Yoga, Improvisation and Theatre. It is a place that allows people to step out of their everyday lives, to become grounded and emerge with clarity.
What is the purpose of the Theatre Farm?
The purpose of the Theatre Farm is to offer people opportunities for growth by deepening connections to self, others and the environment. We want to explore how we can deepen these connections through practicing Yoga, studying and performing Improvisation, training in and creating Theatre and working with the land in an observant, sustainable and nurturing way. As artists we feel driven to explore our craft in an intensive environment, creating work that allows us to be the very best that we can be.
To make this dream a living reality we need:
1. Land
2. Building materials
3. Lots of encouragement!
We believe that the world needs the Theatre Farm and other places like it. In an age where depression and other imbalances are rife, we need to start re-connecting with the roots of life.
