Isolation, by Lisa Norriss

3 - 10 July, 2009

A dark tale of isolation. What happens to people when their ability to connect to others is impeded? This play was created from three isolated characters- people experiencing physical and mental isolation. The story that results is a twisty tale that unravels into deeper, darker places with each revelation.

This play was written whilst Lisa was studying a paper called 'Women as Criminals and Victims' at the University of Canterbury. It explores the concept of isolation and looks at criminology and victimology as muddy/ overlapping ideas.
